This is a very good PNR romance with drama, betrayal, magic, loss, and love. The MCs, both primary and secondary are defined, mostly likable, and engaging. I liked this entertaining and enjoyable read.

I loved how this series weaved through couples. This specific one is about Mya and Erik. It was so good. I am so sad that the series has come to an end. Melissa is such an amazing writer. I cannot wait to read more of her books.

This is book three in a series but each book can be read as a stand alone.

This book follows Maya and her mate Erik. It follows them through her youth when he was just her guardian and protector. It goes through them losing each other after acknowledging they were mates. Blood witches steal them from each other for centuries. In present time they finally find each other again. Does all the truth come out at last? Does their love blossom? Do they survive what the past has thrown at them?

Another amazing book by Melissa Cummins. I have truly enjoyed this series. Melissa created a world with these books that I truly enjoyed. The world, the characters, the flow and the pace were all well done. I can't wait to see what comes next from this author.

This was another fab installation to this wonderful series. Each book is about a different couple but we have an overarching plot and this story moves that forward. This is a fast paced, well written, edgy and intense romance for Mya and Erik and it took me on quite the emotional reading ride. They may have had a long history together, but things have taken devastating turns for them and I love that we get a lot of that history, making their story more impactful for me. Can't wait for the next book :D

Night Fall by Melissa Cummins is book three in The Chronicles of The Otherworld Series. It’s a vampire fated mates romance. I’ve been reading this series since book one and each one just keeps getting better and better. I love the way Melissa Cummins weaves the story, everything is described in a way that makes it easy to picture what you’re reading. I read this book cover to cover not putting my kindle down once. I’m a huge fan of vampire romances and this just blew my expectations out of the water. I really liked the couple a lot in this book, Mya and Erik. I really enjoyed the spice, it was top tier. I liked the suspense that the book has and the quick thinking of the characters at times. I highly recommend this series because the worldbuilding is fantastic and it’s just an overall great read.

It has it all. Battles, family, politics, spice, and the longing between the FMC and MMC??? Outrageous (-ly good.) I have not read anything like it before. I loved it. It's a great stand alone, but I am so excited to read the first 2.

FINALLY!!! We finally get to see Mya’s story!
Like I have no words to describe this story! It broke my heart and it healed it.
Erik has loved and cared for Mya since she was young but never acted on the mate impulses until she’s older.
Mya has always felt love for Erik but at the time she didn’t understand why. When they finally get to a point where they finally decide to go the next step, tragedy hits and the one who suffers the most was Mya.
Like this storyline was just amazing. This was just BEAUTIFULLY written.
🥹🥹💖💖I’m just so happy that Mya and Erik finally had their time and found their HEA🥹🥹💖💖
Ps: Erik kept his promise 👀👀🤣(iykyk)👀👀💖

I always enjoy a good vampire story and I really liked this! It was a very quick read for me; I got so pulled into the story that I didn’t realize how close to finishing I was. The spicy scenes between Erik and Mya were great! I would like to know more about Luke’s story and how he came to join up with Erik, but for all I know that could have been in one of the previous 2 books in this series. I enjoyed the fight scenes and the characters’ attempts / brainstorm/ thinking out loud on the fly during the big showdown to work around the blood magic being used on Erik.

All in all, I recommend this book for any fans of vampire stories, age gap romance, or fairly spicy scenes (it takes a while to get there, though, so be warned)

I was given a free ARC of this book and am leaving this review voluntarily.

I loved Night Fall! It provided a much-needed backstory unraveling the mysteries and answered numerous questions. Additionally, it offered a deeper understanding of Mya's character, allowing me to forge a stronger connection with her. The final book in this trilogy turned out to be an epic conclusion. I enjoyed this book and appreciated the author's thoughtful warning at the beginning, setting the stage for an unforgettable journey.

Night Fall was probably my favorite book of the Vampire Wars trilogy. I really liked reading about Mya and Erik's history over the centuries.

While the Vampire Wars is part of a bigger series, the Otherworld Chronicles, everything was all tied up with a nice bow at the end. It seems like each trilogy will stand on its own. I'm anxious to see what's next.

I received a free copy and this is my honest review.

I have to say I love the author's notes at the beginning of the book the outline of what all this book entrails is fantastic and a warning. The playlist is impressive as well. Night Fall was so good. We finally get a backstory to Greg, Lucas, and Mya. So many questions are answered in this book. This was a great third entry in the Chronicles of The Otherworld series, it had what I was expecting from this series. Melissa knows how to draw in readers. And this story is probably my favorite of the series so far. I am excited to see where she goes in the next one.

I have to say I love the author's notes at the beginning of the book the outline of what all this book entrails is fantastic and a warning. The playlist is impressive as well.

Finally, we begin with the prologue. Mya restates the history of when she was at death's door and met Eric for the first time. This historical event brought us to the start of the book in the 14th century. Mya and Eric have a complicated relationship initially, even for being undead. Their first interactions that seem forbidden are very sensual and very possessive.

This story has much history, with an expanded perspective on their relationship and crucial moments. Some steamy scenes are well described to capture the character's feelings and expressions. We get the possessive Alpha Male.

The story jumps again to the 18th century. I find their extra abilities intriguing. This story gets dark and twisted as their life in the new world isn't exactly as planned. Mya has matured in the story as we watch her go from a teenager to a young woman to adulthood in her vampirism.

I've fallen so far into this tale that I forgot this twist was coming. Yes, the story she weaved managed to surprise me. After this shocking twist, we do finally get to the present day. Myas' story is profound and very well written. There is so much description and time in this book that is covered.

The steamy scenes start sizzling as Mya encounters another dose of reckless behavior. I want to know where this goes because I expected something else. Wow, the end of this book reminds me of a honeymoon, but I do like that I finally felt the joy in this story. The ending was fabulous, and this is Melissa Cummins's best book. The writing was on point, and the story inside has a depth to it not typically found in paranormal romance. I enjoyed this book and appreciated the author's warning at the story's beginning.

Night Fall was so good. We finally get a backstory to Greg, Lucas, and Mya. So many questions are answered in this book. We also get to know Mya more. I enjoyed getting to know her and being able to understand her more. Erik and Mya's chemistry was off the charts and their love was so sweet. The beginning was a bit slow and with more tension but the ending quickly picked up and became so much spicer.

I loved Mya’s and Erik’s story. I loved that we were able to find out more about their past and their beginnings. How Erik changed Mya’s, Gregori’s, and Lucas’ lives for the better.

I loved seeing them having to move so it wouldn’t cause suspicion with the town folks. I loved that Mya became a bad@ss and learned to stand up for herself.

After finding out what kept Erik away all these years- was heartbreaking. Especially because he was soooo close.

Melissa knows how to draw in readers. And this story is probably my favorite of the series so far. I am excited to see where she goes in the next one.
