Setting a Release Date for Night Shade

The Final Sprint to Publication

Right now I'm in that exciting phase where the book stops feeling like a manuscript and starts feeling like an actual book that people will read. Redlining - going through and marking up the draft with a red pen to catch details before it goes to the editor - is one of those hands-on steps that really connects you with the story in a different way.

At the same time, all these other pieces are falling into place. Working on the cover design, getting banners created, updating the website - it's like watching all the puzzle pieces of a book launch come together. Each element makes the whole thing feel more real.

But honestly, the most exciting part has been setting the actual release date: September 28, 2021. There's something about having that concrete date that makes everything feel official. This isn't just "someday I'll publish this book" anymore - it's "this book will be in readers' hands on this specific day."

I'm so excited to have that date locked down and can't wait to share more details. The formal announcement will come later with the final cover and all the official details. But right now, it feels good to know that Night Shade has a definite launch day, and everything I'm doing is building toward that moment.
