Where to Find My Vampire Romance Books Beyond Kindle Unlimited

If you've been reading my vampire romance books through Kindle Unlimited, I have some news to share. I'm stepping away from KU exclusivity so you can find my books on more platforms—and I want to explain why and where you can find them next.

Why I'm Making My Vampire Romance More Widely Available

For a long time, my books have been exclusive to Kindle Unlimited. For $13 a month, readers get access to a rotating library of books—borrow 20, return them, grab 20 more—all without committing to a single title. In a world where budgets are tight and inflation keeps climbing, that sounds like an incredible deal.

And for a long time, I believed it was.

But after weighing the pros and cons, I've decided to take a step back. At least for now.

The Exclusivity Problem

Kindle Unlimited is a fantastic resource for voracious readers. The ability to explore new authors, genres, and series without extra cost is a huge perk. As a writer, I've loved being part of a program that makes my books so accessible.

However, there's a catch: exclusivity.

To enroll in KU, authors must make their ebooks exclusive to Amazon. That means no other retailers, no library distributions, no promotions outside their ecosystem. And while Amazon pays authors per page read ($0.0045, to be exact), this compensation structure has its limitations.

Trust, Flexibility, and Fairness

This isn't just about money—it's about trust and control.

Over the past few months, I've had repeated issues with Amazon's system—glitches, delayed payments, and a lack of transparency that's made me feel it's no longer something viable for me.

That said, this might not be forever. If, down the line, I see that KU is still the best way to reach my audience, I'll reconsider. But for now? I'm excited to explore new opportunities—wider distribution, more promotions, and the chance to connect with readers who prefer other platforms.

Where to Find My Vampire Romance Books Now

If you've been reading my books through Kindle Unlimited, don't worry—I'll give you plenty of notice before any changes take effect. Once my titles are available elsewhere, you'll be able to find them on:

  • Apple Books, Google Play, Barnes & Noble, and Smashwords
  • Kobo & Kobo Plus - Where you'll be able to get my books for free with a cheaper subscription than Amazon's Kindle Unlimited
  • Libby & OverDrive - Borrow my ebooks and audiobooks with your library card

Have thoughts about this change? You can always reach out through my social media or join my newsletter for updates on where to find my books.
