Absolutely love it....

This is a very good PNR romance with defined MCs. The entertaining and engaging book has drama and is well-written.

I currently only read part one but I cannot put it down. Wow the intensity, the love, the found family dynamic. It has so much and and care even through the despair and destruction of life and greed. The setting is present day New York, New York. It is very well described and detailed. Each character’s characteristics and personality is detailed to the point of feeling like you know them for real. I love Melissa’s writing style. It is so easy to read and the words just flow.

Book 1 is an amazing start to the series. There is action, romance, spicy all wrapped up in twenty chapters. Did I mention the spice, hmmm… there is plenty of it. You might even need a few breaks in between the scenes. Book 1 does leave you in a cliffhanger but it is a doable cliff hanger. All three books are available so you obviously do not have to wait long to start the next.

Totally enjoyed this book. For a paranormal read and first book in series it is a fantastic read. You have a little bit of steam and plenty of action. A must read.

From start to finish this book sucks you in, I wish I could help find Alexander/Zachariah, he needs a good butt kicking. I love how you know a war is going on but it's more like in the background so you can really get to know the characters. I'm not going to lie I was hoping that Dani , Greg, and Luke would have like a RH why choose but overall was very happy with this book.. on to book 2

Daniella loves her job and her co-workers, but she craves her boss. If only she had the courage to act on it. Gregori Novak craves her too and as his fated mate, it is hard to resist her. Gregori and many others at the company are vampires but Daniella is human. Would she accept him or run in horror? He’ll soon find out when she becomes a target in the vampire war.

This book is a good series starter. I finished it in one day. I received an advance copy but my review is honest and voluntary.

I absolutely loved this book it has everything you could want in this type of book. I couldn't put it down.
The way Melissa wrote the feelings that Greg had for Daniella made me smile and happy knowing how special that kind of love can be.
I also love how supportive everyone is of each other, knowing someone will always have your back.
After reading this book, I've decided we all need a Vampire Gregori in our lives.
I love how the book also has the magic side of things in it showing Ella being a witch is also powerful and it was great seeing Ella's powers grow.
Then there's The heat and Spice of Vampire Gregori and I could read those chapters over again.
10/10 for this great book.

Night Shade is about a vampire war and a human, Daniella, who becomes a target because she is her boss, Gregory’s mate although she isn’t aware of that fact. She has a crush on her boss though. Gregory is an old and very powerful vampire and thinks he is protecting Daniella by not telling her she is his mate. Daniella comes to realize she has powers when she is brutally attacked by Zachariah in her penthouse. Unbeknownst to Dani Zachariah is Greg’s powerful rival. She just thinks he is a one night stand. I gave this book 3.5 stars.

While Greg does have a mouth, so does Daniella.
